WHAT IT TAKES TO LEAD
THE DAILY MISSION
Your primary focus is keeping our community safe while making sure everyone has a great time at the pool. You'll be the face of safety and fun for our members.
- Monitoring pools and all aquatic areas
- Creating a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment
- Supporting club members and their families
- Representing the club with high energy and professionalism
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We don't just hire lifeguards—we build a team. If you bring a positive attitude and a willingness to learn, we’ll help you develop the skills you need to succeed.
- A positive attitude and a strong team mindset
- Lifeguard, CPR, or First Aid certification (preferred, or willing to learn)
- Dependable, alert, and ready for real responsibility
- Availability for seasonal, part-time, or flexible scheduling

Do I need to already be certified?
While current lifeguard certification is preferred, we encourage you to apply if you are interested in getting certified or are currently enrolled in a course. We can point you in the right direction!
Is this a seasonal or year-round position?
We offer both! Many of our lifeguards join us for the busy summer season, but we also have year-round indoor aquatics needs for those looking for longer-term roles.
Are part-time schedules available?
Absolutely. We understand our team members have classes, sports, and other commitments. We offer flexible scheduling to fit your lifestyle.
Is this a good fit for students?
Yes! Being a lifeguard at The Clubs at River City is an excellent job for high school and college students looking for meaningful work, leadership experience, and a fun environment.
